COMPASS POUCH FIRST AID KIT

The following small first aid kit will fit inside a standard USGI Compass/First Aid Kit pouch. It is designed to be small enough to be carried everywhere so that it you will carry it with you where a larger first aid kit might be left behind. This first aid kit is designed to cover many of the smaller injuries that are likely in outdoor situations such as cuts, scrapes, splinters, burns, etc.

CONTENTS LIST:

• 1 - USGI Compass/First Aid Pouch (with ALICE clip)
• 1 - 3"x5" plastic Ziplock baggie (found at craft stores)
• 1 - roll of 1" adhesive bandage tape
• 1 - package of 1/2" Steri-Strip butterfly dressings
• 2 - packages of Alcohol Prep Pads
• 2 - 3"x4" Telfa Pads
• 1 - #10 Sterile Scalpel Blade
• 1 - #11 Sterile Scalpel Blade
• 1 - #15 Sterile Scalpel Blade
• 2 - packages of 2"x2" Gauze Pads
• 10 - 1"x3" Bandaid Strips
• 3 - 2"x3-1/2" Bandaid Strips
• 4 - packets of Triple Antibiotic Ointment
• 10 - packages of Advil (200mg Ibuprofen)
• 1 - sewing needle (for splinter removal)
• 1 - book of matches to sterilize the needle

All items are carefully packed inside the baggie except the tape. It is carefully wrapped around the outside of the baggie, giving it extra strength. It can still be removed from the first aid kit as needed. You may need to change some items in this kit. You may have some items that you can't find or want and may have other items that you need.

Remember, this kit is designed to be carried with you at all times. It's not much, but it's much better than nothing.
