SAVING SEEDS - OKRA

Okra: A veggie you either love or hate! I like mine young, tender, cut up and fried in breading.

Okra is really easy to save the seed from. You just choose a few pods to leave to mature fully and mark them with string or tape. When they start to dry on the plant, cut them off and take them inside to a warm spot. Place them on a paper towel in a box and let them dry 'til they split or sound like a rattle. Remove from the husk, then label and store.
